The startup company Shyp closed March 27th, after a four year run of creating on-demand shipping for consumers. Kevin Gibbon, founder of Shyp, says his innovative features and partnering with ebay, just were not enough to build the company into a profiting business when forced to compete with large and well established companies. Though Shyp failed, experts believe there are still many investments into new technology that will allow for transportation improvements.
