DHL is returning to domestic parcel deliveries after 10 years, thanks to the growth of e-commerce. Beginning in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, DHL will launch special same-day and next-day delivery services for online retailers, with plans to further expand into other major cities in the next few years. The competition for FedEx and UPS will, ideally, bring down the shipping rates for consumers and allow a new parcel shipper to take advantage of the growing market.
